Thujopsis dolabrata 'Nana' is a low-growing, dwarf, spreading selection of hiba arborvitae with bright, pale- to yellowish green, fine-textured overlapping thick, scale-like foliage, marked with silver on the undersides. Foliage remains bright-green in winter. Branching consists of upward-pointed sprays of foliage, forming a spreading bun-shaped mound. Plants perform best when grown in full sun or light shade.
